Blue Cat's Oscilloscope Multi is a real-time audio analysis plug-in for musicians, recording engineers and sound designers who need to inspect and compare signals from multiple tracks. It displays several waveforms in one interface, making it easier to check how audio changes across a recording, mix or effects chain. Its X-Y phase view provides another way to compare signals, particularly when investigating phase relationships between microphones or stereo channels.
The waveform display includes loop, flow and trigger modes for viewing audio in different ways. Stereo and mid-side operation let users examine either left and right channels or the mid and side components of a signal. Curves can be synchronized and latency compensation can align waveforms, helping make comparisons more meaningful when signals arrive at different times.
