FIFA is a football game demo from Electronic Arts for players who want to try its on-pitch controls and match presentation. It features a selection of five clubs - AC Milan, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Manchester City - and uses Manchester City's Etihad Stadium as its venue. The demo gives players a focused sample of the game rather than a full club roster or complete career experience.
Its First Touch Control system makes ball control depend on the situation. Defensive pressure, the angle and speed of a pass, and the player receiving it affect how cleanly the ball is handled. A poor pass or heavy touch can leave possession open to defenders, so players need to judge their passes and control the ball carefully instead of assuming every reception will be precise.
Attacking Intelligence affects how teammates move when building an attack. Players assess available space, make runs intended to draw defenders away, and adjust their movement to exploit openings or create passing lanes. These actions give the player with the ball more options than simply passing to a stationary teammate, and can help break down a defensive line through coordinated movement.
Complete Dribbling offers more control when facing a defender. Players can move in different directions while keeping the ball close, use touches to avoid tackles, or turn and shield possession to hold off pressure. This is particularly useful in one-on-one situations, where a change of direction or a protected touch can create room to continue an attack. The demo also includes Match Day and Skill Games: Match Day brings real-world football context to play, while Skill Games let players practise and test their abilities.
The demo is intended for Windows and was distributed under a demo licence. Its stated system support covers Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, including their 64-bit editions; that information does not establish compatibility with Windows 10 or Windows 11. The compact selection of teams and modes makes it suitable for sampling the match controls and trying short football challenges, rather than replacing the full game.
