System Uptime Full Plus is a Windows desktop gadget for checking how long a computer has been running. It is useful for users who monitor system availability, troubleshoot unexpected restarts or simply want a quick view of the current session. Rather than searching Windows settings or running a command, the gadget keeps uptime information visible on the desktop.
Its main display shows the time elapsed since the computer was last started, including days and smaller time units. It can also show the operating system platform and architecture, along with the system's installation date and time. A separate record uptime value makes it possible to compare the current run with the longest recorded one, which can help when tracking extended periods of operation or checking whether a recent restart reset the current count.
The gadget offers full, small and wide display modes, allowing the information to fit different desktop layouts. Appearance controls cover colors for the background, title, system details, day count, numbers and units. Date and time formats can also be selected, so the display can be adjusted to suit personal preference or a compact workspace. These options keep the core information available without requiring a separate monitoring window.
A speaker control at the bottom of the gadget reads the current and record uptime aloud. Speech can be customized by choosing an available Microsoft voice and adjusting its speed, pitch and volume. This offers an audible way to check the figures, while the visual display remains useful for at-a-glance monitoring. The combination of sizing, color and speech settings supports different desktop preferences and accessibility needs.
System Uptime Full Plus is freeware and is designed to use little CPU and memory. It supports 32-bit and 64-bit systems and is offered for Windows versions from Vista through Windows 11. As a desktop gadget, its availability depends on a compatible gadget environment; Windows editions that do not provide desktop gadgets natively may require separate gadget software. The program is focused on displaying uptime and related system details rather than controlling startup behavior or providing broader system diagnostics.
