VidiVerify for Windows 10 - Full description

VidiVerify is a freeware video verification tool from the VidiVerify Team for Windows 11 and Windows 10 64-bit. It is intended for users who need to check footage before archiving videos, using them in presentations, or pushing them to production.

The workflow consists of adding a video file and selecting the relevant checking options. Users can run an integrity check for a faster process or a full check. If the program finds anomalies during a Standard check, it prompts the user to use Diagnostic mode to analyze the finding more thoroughly. Recommendations may also be provided; for example, a decoder processing error can advise checking the file’s bitstream. A Quick-Check option in the context menu runs a quick pre-check of the selected video file without interacting with the program interface.

Check results cover Integrity Check, Full Check, and Diagnostic. Hovering over these results can provide actionable information for addressing an issue; for example, a damaged data error can prompt checks for transmission errors or defective storage. The Media Analysis and Protocol menus provide additional technical information about a file’s video and audio codecs and allow analysis of check excerpts. Check excerpts and the Media Analysis Protocol file can be saved.

Version 1.5.0 is freeware and supports Windows 11 and Windows 10 64-bit.
