Audio tracks can be recorded and edited alongside MIDI parts, letting a project combine performances with programmed material. Editing tools include pitch correction, time stretching and spectral editing for adjusting recordings, timing and tonal details. These functions are useful for correcting a vocal take, fitting a performance to a tempo or working on specific elements of an audio recording. Mixing tools help balance and shape the tracks within the same project.
