Netpas Estimator is a voyage planning and calculation program for shipping professionals who need to assess vessel routes, operating costs and cargo revenue. It combines map-based route exploration with worksheets for estimating voyage distance, time, bunker consumption and expenses, helping users compare operating choices before a voyage.
The program organizes work in a multi-tab interface, so separate estimation worksheets can remain open at the same time. Users enter vessel details, departure date, port or country information, cargo quantity and freight, then review the resulting voyage figures. Routes can be displayed and adjusted on a world map, with distance, estimated time and bunker requirements calculated for the selected route. Map tools also identify port positions and show areas and distances associated with (S)ECA zones.
Cost and operating inputs include bunker prices, total price, commission, brokerage, freight tax and other linear terms. A bunker simulator supports consumption estimates, while dedicated calculations cover LSFO/LSDO and FO/DO parameters. The program can compare full-speed and eco-speed operation, and an anti-piracy route option supports alternate routing scenarios. Additional calculators address loadable quantity, LT, laytime and CEV, alongside port-charge calculations.
These tools are intended for preparing and comparing voyage estimates, checking how route changes affect distance and fuel use, and reviewing the financial implications of cargo and voyage assumptions. Worksheets can be exported to XLS or PDF, printed or sent by email, making it possible to share estimates and retain them for further review.
