DecryptSQL is a Windows utility for recovering readable T-SQL definitions from encrypted SQL Server objects. It handles stored procedures, triggers, functions and views of any size, and supports Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005 as well as MSDE. Batch processing can decrypt multiple objects, while T-SQL syntax highlighting helps with code review. Results can be exported to HTML or RTF.

DecryptSQL is a Windows utility for recovering readable T-SQL definitions from encrypted stored procedures and other SQL Server objects. It is intended for database administrators and developers who need to inspect, maintain or document existing database code. The program works with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005, as well as Microsoft Database Engine (MSDE), and handles stored procedures, triggers, functions and views of any size.
The main workflow is designed around selecting an encrypted object and running the decryption with a click. DecryptSQL does not require users to write a script or know T-SQL to start the process. For databases with several objects to inspect, batch decryption can process multiple items together rather than requiring the same action to be repeated one at a time.
Once a definition is available, full T-SQL syntax highlighting makes the code easier to scan and distinguish while reviewing its structure. The utility can export results as HTML or RTF, allowing decrypted code to be kept in formatted documents or shared through tools that support those formats. Its interface supports multiple languages, including English, German, Chinese BIG5 and Japanese.
DecryptSQL can be useful when inherited database logic needs review, when a stored procedure must be understood before maintenance, or when triggers, functions and views need to be examined as part of database documentation. It focuses on decrypting these SQL objects and presenting their definitions for reading and export; it is not a general-purpose SQL development environment.
The program is shareware and is designed for Windows. Its stated database support covers SQL Server 2000 and 2005 and MSDE, so compatibility with later SQL Server releases should not be assumed. The software is suited to workflows involving those database systems and encrypted object definitions.
