Kiosk Software for Windows 10 - Full description

ANTAMEDIA Kiosk Software turns public computers into restricted self-service stations for businesses and organizations. It is intended for locations where visitors need access to a website, web application or selected services without being able to use the underlying Windows system freely. Operators can configure which content and programs are available, reducing the risk of unauthorized changes or access to files and settings on unattended machines.

Its lockdown controls restrict access to the desktop, system tools, drives, folders and programs. The software can block system key combinations, including Ctrl-Alt-Del, and replace the standard system shell so visitors remain within the kiosk environment. Its Secure Browser removes standard browser menus, limits browsing to approved URLs and can block downloads, pop-ups and selected web technologies. These controls help operators provide a focused browsing experience and reduce exposure to unwanted websites or system changes.

Kiosk screens can use customizable start-page themes, multilingual support and a virtual keyboard for touch displays. For signage, the software can combine videos, images, web pages and Flash animations in layouts divided into two, three or four configurable areas. Operators can display notices or advertisements alongside other content, while a kiosk can provide a website or application for free or at a set price. Payment Station supports coin and bill acceptors as well as credit card payments; WiFi HotSpot integration can extend paid or free internet access around the kiosk.

Remote administration supports unattended installations by letting staff connect to self-service computers to configure applications, run updates, troubleshoot problems, assist customers and monitor suspicious activity. This can reduce the need for on-site visits when maintaining kiosks across multiple locations. The mix of browser restrictions, signage, payment collection and hotspot functions makes the software suitable for public internet access, hotel services, customer self-service and promotional displays.

Kiosk Software is shareware and supports English, Czech, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish. Its stated minimum requirements are a 1.7 GHz CPU, 1 GB of RAM and 50 GB of hard drive space. Listed Windows support includes Windows 10 and earlier Windows desktop and server editions; Windows 11 support is not included in the stated compatibility information.
