Softgroup .Net Forms Resize is a .NET component for developers building Windows Forms applications in Visual Studio. It adjusts a form's controls and fonts as the form changes size, helping interfaces retain their proportions across different window sizes and screen resolutions. The component can be added to the Visual Studio Toolbox and placed on a form, making it usable with existing form designs as well as new projects.
When a form is resized, the component scales its contained controls and can resize their fonts to match. Developers can choose whether font scaling is enabled, both at design time and at runtime. This allows an interface to keep text and controls in proportion, or to resize controls while leaving text at its original size. A one-line code integration is also available for applying the resizing behavior to a form.
The component handles controls nested inside other controls and supports standard Windows Forms, MDI parent forms and MDI child forms. It can manage docked interface elements such as ToolStrip and StatusStrip controls.
