Brynhildr for Windows 10 - Full description
Brynhildr, developed by IchiGeki, is a shareware remote-computing application for accessing and interacting with another computer on the same network. It can be used by administrators to troubleshoot computers remotely and by other users to perform tasks on a remote PC.
Brynhildr uses a client-server architecture. The server must be deployed on the computer to be accessed, while the client is installed on the computer used for the connection. Server setup automatically detects the computer’s IP address and allows a port number to be selected. A password can optionally be assigned to the connection. The client requires the server’s IP address and the matching port number.
When control is enabled, the client user can interact with the remote desktop, launch applications and perform operations as if using the server computer directly. The control function can be turned off when the remote desktop only needs to be monitored. The client also provides settings for video quality and video codec, as well as the sound capture device; audio can be turned off.
Version 3.7.2 supports Windows 11, Windows 10 32/64-bit, Windows 8 32/64-bit, Windows 7 32/64-bit, Windows Vista 32/64-bit, Windows XP 32/64-bit and Windows 2K.
