FastAccess Pro is facial-recognition software for Windows that adds face-based sign-in and access controls to a shared or personal computer. It is intended for people who want to log in without repeatedly entering credentials, as well as households or workplaces where several users share a machine. Recognition learns from normal computer use, so there is no separate manual face-enrollment step; the facial database updates as users log in.
After recognizing a user, FastAccess can sign in to Windows and fill in saved usernames and passwords on websites. Website credentials are entered only while the recognized user's face is visible, tying access to the person in front of the computer rather than simply storing passwords for automatic use. This can reduce repetitive typing while keeping the face check involved in access to saved web accounts.
The software can continue checking for a face after Windows sign-in. When the user leaves, it can automatically secure the desktop and web passwords, helping prevent access from someone approaching an unattended computer. It can also switch between Windows desktops when it recognizes a different user, which is useful on shared PCs and for applying separate parental controls. An optional photo audit log captures a small image during each Windows login, providing a record of who accessed the computer.
FastAccess Pro is suited to users who want face recognition to combine sign-in convenience with ongoing desktop security, and to families managing access on a shared Windows computer. Its automatic learning is designed to adapt as a user's appearance or surroundings change over time. The program is trialware. The supplied system information covers Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10, including 64-bit editions; it does not establish support for later Windows releases.
