Xirrus Wi-Fi Monitor for Windows 10 - Full description
The Xirrus Wi-Fi Monitor sidebar gadget will use a radar-like display to show available Wi-Fi networks (SSIDs) and their relative range.
The main gadget face - when expanded off the sidebar - provides details on your connection and adapter, including SSID, channel, signal strength (current and history), IP address, and MAC address.
A fly out window provides more granular details on available networks, including SSIDs, security settings, RSSI (in dBm or %), channels, BSSIDs (MAC Address), network types, and network modes. Statistical counters for the Wi-Fi adapter are also provided. Supports multiple Wi-Fi adapters.
The Xirrus Wi-Fi Monitor is useful for both IT managers and end users, and is available as a Yahoo! Widget for Windows XP and a Gadget for Windows Vista. A radar-like display graphically shows available Wi-Fi networks and their range.
Detailed information is available about your current Wi-Fi connection in addition to surrounding Wi-Fi networks, including SSID, signal strength, IP address, MAC address, security level, vendor, and network type.
A Terminology section helps you make sense of all the Wi-Fi terms. Nine different color skins are available to customize the Wi-Fi Monitor's look for your desktop.
