iReasoning MIB Browser Enterprise is a network management utility for engineers and administrators working with SNMP-enabled devices and applications. It loads standard and private MIB files, including some malformed MIBs, and presents the definitions and managed objects in a browsable interface. This helps users inspect device capabilities and work with network information without relying solely on command-line tools.
The browser can send basic SNMP requests to retrieve data from an agent or make changes to it. MIB tables appear in a table view, where rows can be refreshed periodically and created or deleted dynamically. Support for SNMPv1, SNMPv2c and SNMPv3 covers a range of device configurations; SNMPv3 USM user management is also available for setting up users for secure SNMP access. IPv6 support accommodates networks using the newer addressing standard.
For monitoring and troubleshooting, the program includes a trap receiver and trap sender. The receiver handles incoming SNMP traps and is designed to cope with trap storms; traps can also be forwarded by email.
